What to do in Cordoba

There is always lots going on in Cordoba!

From June till September the city of Cordoba runs many events under the banner of  Las Noches de Embrujo, or the Nights of Charm!

There is flamenco in the old parts of the city, live theater in patios, evening walking tours, festivals and outdoor cinema.

Academia Hispánica posts such events in prominent places throughout the school for the benefit of our students. We also organize weekly outings and take advantage of all Cordoba has to offer. Our students are able to hear Spanish naturally, and have the chance to learn in a relaxed environment.

‘Buen Apetito’ Course

Buen Apetito

September 17 – 30, 2007

 

 

This course is designed for students who wish to not only learn Spanish, but want to use the language practically as well as have some fun in a Spanish kitchen. We will teach you how to make some traditional Mediteranean and Cordobes dishes so you can ‘wow’ your friends and family back home!

Our ‘Buen Apetito’ course is two weeks in length and includes 40 hours of Spanish language instruction as well as 12 hours of Spanish cookery lessons. Class sizes are limited, so register online without delay.

Flamenco Night

As we at Academia Hispanica are finishing off our summer semester we decided to bring our students out for a night on the town! We took them to see live Flamenco, at Tablao Cardenal. It is always a great show and we had a lot of fun.

July Graduates

 

This is our most recent group of Academia Hispanica graduates! They studied Spanish with us in Cordoba for two weeks. We had a lot of fun with them – they saw some award winning Flamenco dancers and La Mezquita.

We had an activity to discover Cordobes tapas. 

We also took a trip on a horse and carriage around the city.
